Club Meetings

All BSHMC meetings will be held at Farnham Common Village Hall, Victoria Road, Farnham Common, Bucks. SL2 3NL at 8:00pm unless otherwise stated. The car park is located on the right hand side of the building. See map below.

Please note meetings and events may be subject to change if any of our guest speakers are unavailable.  We will endeavour to contact all members in the event of it being necessary to cancel or change any of our meetings or events.

Feb 20th          A mixture of short transport films and Pathe news reel clips from the archives.

Mar 20th         Les Derbyshire will give a talk on transport on the Isle of Man.

Apr 17th          David Rogers gave a nice presentation about the Fireboat 'Massey Shaw' but this time he is letting us know how things have changed in the London fire Brigade.

May 15th         Outside visit to the Thames Valley Police Museum at Sulhamstead near Reading. Start time is 7pm and postcode for SATNAV is RG7 4DX.

Jun 19th          Paul Denning, a tree surgeon, was involved in the late Queen’s funeral, clearing locations for press coverage. He is also involved in the Italian Job charity, a Mini motoring event supporting disadvantaged children.

Sep 18th          Tony Stead is going to enlighten us about the Cholsey and Wallingford railway. His talk covers the struggle to get it built and how they kept it going and its demise and re-birth.

Oct 16th          Cliff Perry will enlighten us about the Inter-City 125s now being phased out years past their design lifespan and what they had to do to keep them going.

Nov 20th          Robert’s roamings, find out where he has been this year.

Nov 22nd         Wreath making at Collings Hanger Farm, Prestwood.

Dec 18th          Christmas Party.
